The 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks has passed One year and the massacre is still fresh in the minds of the Indian people.
The attacks began on 26 November 2008 and lasted until 29 November, killing at least 173 people and wounding at least 308.
Eight of the attacks occurred in South Mumbai at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Oberoi Trident, the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Leopold Cafe, Cama Hospital, the Orthodox Jewish-owned Nariman House, the Metro Cinema, and a lane behind the Times of India building and St. Xavier’s College.There was also an explosion at Mazagaon, in Mumbai’s port area, and in a taxi at Vile Parle. Killed many innocent people including children. In memory of the lives lost, the people of India remember and mourn the victims of this shocking incident.

My Dear Brothers & Sisters,
May Peace Blessings & Mercy of Almighty be on all of you.
I normally do not reply to posts on the web. But have been terribly pained by the title of this article which reads “26/11 mumbai terror attack photos videos one year celebaration 2009″. I have too many questions which have come to mind & I seek answers for them. What is the celebration here? The loss of 173 lives & the wounds of 308 people. Ask the parents of those brothers & sisters who lost their lives in that episode which marks the most horrible memories in those people who witnessed it on the TV, leave alone those people who suffered the pain of being hurt or losing life. Don’t we have some social responsiblity. Why?, Can’t people differentiate MOURNING from Celebration?
Ask those people who have suffered loss of near & dear are the CELEBRATING?
Ask those people who have been wounded in the incident are they CELEBRATING their wounds?
Ask families of those police officers who were affected in the incident, Is life a celebration after 26/11 2008?
The Mumbai Police has shown a picture of foolishness by not questioning the politician who claimed that he had the information about who was behind the attack & would reveal the names when time comes for his own political gains rather than for the benefit of India. When the police can go into third degree tactics to get names of people who are behind the murder of one person why can’t the police use third degree tactics on this politician Mr. Narayan Rane who claims that “some leaders had provided financial andlogistical support to the terrorists.” Why is it that the court has to send a summon to these politicians? Why is it that the police could not apply for the custody of a person who, instead of informing the Police about the possible attack, waits for the loss of 178 lives, over 308 people wounded & India being insulted for having a very weak intelligence system, to go to the media and tell that he had information about this? If he has told that truth, he is also equally responsible and answerable for the 26/11 event. If he has lied to the media then the question I have is “Does India need a lier, to the level of cheating the entire nation & playing with the sentiments of Indians as an elected representative?” Can’t we not strip such liers of all power & throw them behind bars so that we can clean India of “Dirty Leadership”?
The questions are many. We Indians do not demand answers? And when we demand answers, our voilce is silenced. Either my the muscle power of the politicians or the Police who is hand in glove with the politicians.
