India will top the ICC Test ranking, provided they gain victory over Sri Lanka at the third and final Test match, which is slated to kick off on Wednesday.

India currently leads the series 1-0, after they crushed Sir Lanka by an innings and 144 runs. They have received an incentive to make it to 2-0.
