The University of Delhi (DU) is a central university located at Delhi, India and is funded by Government of India. Established in 1922, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate level. The Vice-President of India is the Chancellor of the University of Delhi.

The Combined Aptitude Test for English (CATE) 2009 for admission to B.A English (Honours) at Delhi University (DU) was held on June 17, 2009.
