Firstly wishes for Diwali in advance. I am a ‘nationalist’ Indian (though the ‘original’ name Hindustan sounds unique without ‘tedi ungli’ attitude and ‘hindu’ word in all/any !!!)
As equally I am like a (and practically) common man. Though I have been reading the revues on the net/newspaper/magazine, I have not been able to PURCHASE the book (your latest) simply because I cannot afford. For me I have to follow ‘andaa khao yaa komdaa’. If I purchase the book, I will have to stop taking one meal for a month!
Right from my childhood (much after ‘partition’) I used to wonder as to what would have happened if first PM was not ‘him’ and anyother would have been. The Congress post-independent are nothing but ‘boot lickers’ of British Raj till present day (including every bit and pieces from post-Congress such as Raj Rarayan, VP Singh, Lalu Yadav, etc.
And I always repeatedly remember, hear and sing the words of song ‘Woh Subah Kabhi To Aayegi’
