Kartik Purnima or the full moon day is a traditional festival celebrated in the Hindu month of Kartik will fall on Monday. The day formally puts an end to the celebrations.
In This day men will be busy with the snan, women will offer prayers to Tulsi, asking the gods to shower their blessings on them. Lord Satyanarayan is also worshipped on this day when he wakes up from his long sleep. This marks the beginning of auspicious days and the advent of celebrations like marriages and other functions.
