Kerala Polytechnic Admission 2009
The Polytechnic Colleges in the State of Kerala provides higher study facilities for meritorious SSLC / THSLC holders in the three year full time Diploma Course in Engineering / Technology. Those who desires to go for technical education, can seek admission. Under the direct control of the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala, there are 49 Government Aided Polytechnic Colleges being offered Engineering diploma courses and totally having 9780 seats available for various branches of study.
District wise rank list will be prepared for admission by the Nodal Polytechnic. District wise Polytechnic Colleges and the various courses / branches and seats are given separately. There will be two streams of diploma viz Engineering / Technology and commercial practice. All the Diploma Courses are of six semester duration.

Eligibility
Those who have passed SSLC/ THSLC or equivalent examination, with eligibility for higher studies are eligible to apply for admission.
