Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) is the governing body of the Cricket in the Indian state of Karnataka. The association is affiliated to the Board of Control for Cricket in India and governs the Karnataka cricket team. The association was founded in the year 1933 and has been affiliated to the BCCI ever since.
The association owns the M.Chinnaswamy stadium, which is one of the major Test centers in India and hosted a number of tests and ODIs.
The elections of the KSCA for the new term 2010-2013 is being held on 21st Nov 2010.
Three main pillars of past Indian cricket team – Anil Kumble, Venkatesh Prasad and Javagal Srinath are going to contest for these elections. Rahul Dravid is though not contesting but is willing to join KSCA administration at a later stage after the election results.
Brijesh Patel remarked that it will be their pleasure to move out after these elections to handover the responsibility to these talented players who will provide a new dimension to KSCA.
