RDPR Karnataka PDO Recruitment 2009
Karnataka has 56,682 rural habitations including 27,017 Revenue villages. According to 2001 census, about 348 lakhs of its people, out of a total population of 448 lakhs live in these rural habitations. That constitutes about 69% of the State’s population and about 62 lakhs households who live in the rural areas depending mainly on agriculture.
Rural Development and Panchayat Raj department, Governement of Karnataka has invited applications for the recruitment of PDO. Application can be submitted online in the following link

About Examination
* Examination is on july 2011 from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM.
* There will be a maximum of 180 Questions.
* All the questions carry equal marks.
* All subjects are likely to contain equal number of questions.
* The answer sheet and machine readable OMR sheet will be provided separately. The marking has to be done by blue or black point pen only.
* The test will consist of multiple choice questions.
* Question paper will be provided in both Kannada and English language for General Knowledge, Rural Development and Panchayatha Raj and Computer Literacy Test. Kannada Paper Questions will be in Kannada only and English Paper Questions will be in English only.
* Candidate has to qualify in computer literacy test with a minimum of 35 percent, to become eligible for selection/ranking. Those who do not qualify in computer literacy test, other paper will be not be evaluated.

Dear friends,
Did anyone know the status of PDO Gulbarga Ritt.I am one among the unlucky guy for not writing exam.what is the status on ritt.
Plz all the students who are unlucky with regard to this aspect,form a unity & we wil fight for justice.
Its very disheartining to see people who wrote exam in other centers but chose Gulbarga District.They hve secured more than 90 are obviously eligible for recruitment.For my case i have choosen Koppal but about to write exam i Gulbarga.
Iam ready to support for the clear hearings dear.Plz be serious on this Gulbarga issue before we all miss this great opportunity.
Expecting full co-operation from all the concerned pple.
Plz let me know the status.

Hi friends,
First of all congrats to all the selected PDO’s.Your hard work gave the fruitfull result now.Now we are all in responsible position and government and the village peopels are expecting the positive and progressive achievement from us.In this regard we should satisfy them by our sincier hard work.All of u know that the recruitment has been completed without corruption and very quickly so we should thank all the responsible officers and government,especially Shobha karandlaje who was laid the foundation for the PDO recruitment.As we are selected without corruption we should reflect this in our working atmosphere.So i here by requesting all of you kindly do your duty without corruption as much as possible.God gave the opportunity to serve the poor and needy peopels of vilages.As a panchayath development officer we should develop our panchayath as role model to other states.As told by Mahathma Gadhiji “Grama Rajya is Rama Rajya”, that should be realized by us.we can make it true.In this way work hard and creat the smiles on poor peoples of our state.
