Pandey represents Bangalore Royal Challengers in the 2009 season of the IPL. In the last league match of the season, he scored an unbeaten 114 in 73 balls against Deccan Chargers.
Man of the Match in the 56th match of the 2009 season of the Indian Premier League for scoring an unbeaten 114 from 73 balls for Bangalore Royal Challengers against Deccan Chargers. This was the first century made by any Indian batsman in either seasons of the IPL.
