A civil service commission is a government agency that is constituted by legislature to regulate the employment and working conditions of civil servants and promote their work. Its role is roughly analogous to that of the human resources department in corporations.

The University of Delhi (DU) is a central university located at Delhi, India and is funded by Government of India. Established in 1922, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate level. The Vice-President of India is the Chancellor of the University of Delhi.
