Tamilnadu post circle invited Applications for Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant / Postal Assistant (SBCO) / Postal Assistant (CO/RO) , backlog vacancies of SC/ST/OBC .
The total number of vacancies are 556.
Eligibility
* Age between 18 to 20 years as on the last date prescribed fot the receipt of application.
* Upper age limit is relaxable for
SC/ST by 5 years.
OBC by 3 years
Physical handicraft by 10 years
Educational qualification
* Pass 10+2 or 12 class examination recognized by the board of school education or university or board of secondary education.
* English as a compulsory subject in 12+2 or 12th class.
* candidates should compulsory studied state language in the state of tamilnadu. ( SSLC )
* Typing and computer knowledge is compulsory.
Exam Fee
General candidates Rs 100/-
SC/ST/ OBC Rs 50/-
Exam Pattron
* Apptitude test will contain 150 questions, each question carry 2 marks each. It includes Mathematics, general knowledge, English, analytical ability.
* computer test
* English and Hindi : 450 and 350 words in a minimum speed 30 wpm, the test shall be for 30 to 15 minutes for each part.
* computer test carry 10 marks.
