Anna University has announced TANCET 2011 Notification for M.Tech/M.E./MBA/MCA/M.Arch/M.Plan admission.
Important Dates
TANCET 2011 is scheduled to be held on 28th May 2011.
Last Date for Registration through TANCET 2011 online application is 25th April 2011.
Last date to receipt of filled in applications is 27th April 2011.
Eligibility Criteria : Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years duration in 10+2+3 / 4 years pattern OR Bachelor’s degree in 10+3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern OR B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B. Pharm. Degree.
Candidates who will be appearing for the final semester / year of the above qualifying degree course during April/ May 2011 can also apply for TANCET 2011. Test duration is 2 Hours.
Application fee is Rs. 300 (Rs. 150/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu). DD should be in favour of “The Director, Entrance Examinations, Anna University,” payable at Chenna.
Pattern for Examination:
All the Entrance Exams will be of 2 hours duration consisting of multiple choice questions. MBA and MCA Entrance exam will have 100 questions each while ME/MTech/M.Arch/M.Plan entrance will have separate compulsory and specialization sections. Candidates will have to choose the specialization section depending on their qualifying degree. There will be negative marking in all the exams for incorrect answers.
