59th Miss World pageant will be held on December 12, 2009 at the Gallagher Convention Center in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 12, 2009.

112 contestants from all over the world are competing for the Miss World 2009. Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia will crown her successor at the end of this event.

Telecast for this event includes a debut broadcast on E! Entertainment in the United States which boasts 600 million home viewers internationally.

1st runner-up

* Mexico – Perla Beltrán

2nd runner-up

* South Africa – Tatum Keshwar

The winner will be announced today during the liveshow and go through to the Miss World Semi-Final and last sixteen of the competition.
