Tax Information Network (TIN)-NSDL has launched a new return preparation software RPU version 2.8, used for filing e-TDS statements. This new RPU can be used for filing regular as well as correction statements.
The NSDL updated RPU 2.8 version for e-TDS Return Preparation Utility to TDS Deductor free. There are many new features in this new RPU version 2.8 which are as under.
Key features of NSDL Return Preparation Utility (RPU) version 2.8
Incorporated FVU: FVU version 3.4 and FVU version 2.132 are incorporated.
Relaxation in the validation for date of deduction, wherein the user can quote “Date of Deduction” beyond the quarter
Key features of File Validation Utility (FVU) version 3.4
FVU 3.4 will be applicable for quarterly TDS/TCS statements pertaining to FY 2010-11 onwards.
Deductor can now quote the Date of deduction beyond the quarter.
FVU version 3.4 will be applicable with immediate effect.
Key features of File Validation Utility (FVU) version 2.132
FVU 2.132 will be applicable for quarterly TDS/TCS statements (regular and correction) up to FY 2009-10.
Deductor can now quote the Date of deduction beyond the quarter.
FVU 2.132 will be applicable with immediate effect.
Steps to Easy Download Form 16
- Lagin to TAN Registration Account with user id, Password and TAN. Request for Form 16A can be made for the TAN logged in only. One TAN can’t request for form 16A of another TAN
- On successful login, under ment T”TDS certificate, select option ‘Form 16/16A file request.
- Clicking on aforementioned option, screen will be displayed.
- Verifies the details
