Officially confirming the Death of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajashekar reddy and other four, Home Minister P Chidambaram on Thursday said that the party shares the grief of CM’s family as well as of the others who died in the unfortunate chopper air crash.
Bodies are still lying on the hillock and efforts are being made to retrieve them. The helicopter had disintegrated into pieces.
She said party president Sonia Gandhi was in constant touch with YSR’s family.
L.K. Advani said in a message: “I am deeply saddened to know that the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, has died in a tragic helicopter accident. I condole his untimely and tragic death.”
